F. Dean Lueking
“Character and integrity have always been a big deal in the mind and ministry of F. Dean Lueking. Now after decades of honing the craft of pastoral ministry and processing what makes for the heart of a good pastor, Lueking has produced this gem. It's a reflective book that is unafraid to celebrate the thrill, routine, and sometimes heartache of ministry.” —Rev. Peter W. Marty, Grace Matters Radio Host
“Dean Lueking is a master in his profession: thoughtful scholar, compelling preacher and teacher, devoted churchman, mentor to so many, and above all, pastor. He is the real deal, and his testimony is a gfit to us all.” —John M. Buchanan, Pastor, Fourth Presbyterian Church, Chicago, Illinois
“Dean Lueking's book is a gracious, grateful, grace-filled reflection. Any pastor, anyone who loves pastors, anybody struggling with a call to be a pastor will find here much insight, much encouragement, and much grace.” —William H. Willimon, Bishop, Birmingham Area of the The United Methodist Church
