What makes an Alban publication stand out? In short, Alban publications are focused on the issues of most interest to congregations and their leaders. We've long published books on practical knowledge addressing congregational life and its challenges. Many of these books remain classics. In recent years, we've also charted a new path to hold up innovative experiments and new ways to think about what's happening in the world and our culture today and how that affects congregations. Since 1974, Alban’s book publishing division has brought congregational leaders research-based information and practical advice on topics such as spirituality, worship, growth, and strategic planning. At the onset of the 21st century, our books continue to encourage and prepare leaders for ministry in a changing world.
