Richard J. Bruesehoff
Pastor Dick Bruesehoff currently serves as Director for Lifelong Learning of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. He works primarily with the network of Lifelong Learning Partners (continuing education centers) in the United States, Mexico, Europe and the Middle East and with those who train and support pastors, associates in ministry, diaconal ministers, deaconesses and other leaders. This includes Select Multimedia Resources and The Fisher’s Net, the ELCA’s distance learning ventures, and the network of synodically-based theological education program. He is a founding member and part of the leadership team of the Grace Institute for Spiritual Formation, a two-year faith formation program. Dick previously served as Assistant to the Bishop in the Northwest Synod of Wisconsin where he helped start the synod’s Lay School of Ministry, pastor of Immanuel Lutheran Church (Clayton, WI), Trinity Lutheran Church (Appleton, WI) and on the staff of the Wisconsin Council of Churches. He has participated in the Academy for Spiritual Formation (1994-95) and completed the Shalem Institute Spiritual Guidance program (2005-08). He and his spouse Naomi are the parents of two adult children.
