Congregational Resource Guide
The Congregational Resource Guide (CRG) is a unique online guide to resources for congregations and those who serve them. It is designed to answer questions, make connections to useful information, and enrich the life and leadership of congregations. The CRG includes lists of select resources that represent the scope of thinking and practice on more than 120 topics. These recommendations provide the opportunity to get acquainted with a new subject or to explore a well-known subject more deeply. Many topics include overview essays and articles. For popular topics—small group ministry, adult education or conflict resolution, for example—the CRG offers online tutorials, special reports, and interviews with experienced congregational leaders and experts. Seasonal reading recommendations, Current Focus highlights, featured articles, and a regular updates of recently added items round out the CRG’s offerings.
The CRG is an effort of the Alban Institute in consultation with the Indianapolis Center for Congregations and other specialists. It exists to help congregational leaders connect with resources that will enable them to face challenges and foster vitality in their communities of faith.
