Dialogue transforms conflict.
Learn how to transform conflict by understanding the importance and power of dialogue. You will learn about:
• Theories of dialogue
• The use of story and metaphor
• Methods and techniques for large- and small-group dialogue and deliberation
• How different types of dialogue methods fit with Speed Leas' levels of conflict.

Dialogue and deliberative techniques are also effective in helping congregations discern their mission and call, plan for the future, when there is the need to get input from the congregation in constructive ways regarding large initiatives and for educational and spiritual growth events.

open quote Susan's direct, gracious and down to earth style helped me get on board, use my own strengths and envision my own ministry needs with this resource.”

Through the use of theological reflection, lecture, role-play, small-group discussion, and case studies, this seminar will provide a fun and interactive environment and will offer clarity on which dialogue methods are best at certain points in the life of a congregation or denomination.
