Gary A. Shockley

Gary Shockley is a church planting pastor in the Florida Conference of the United Methodist Church. He is currently serving as lead pastor of HopeSpring United Methodist Church in West Orange County near Orlando, Florida. He has served on numerous district and conference boards in Central and Western Pennsylvania and continues to serve as a mentor for ministerial candidates. In addition to his pastoral ministry he is a speaker, retreat leader, artist and spiritual director. He has completed doctoral work in spiritual formation and counseling from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA where he also obtained a Master’s Degree in formative spirituality, and a Master of Divinity from Ashland Theological Seminary in Ohio. He is the husband of Kim, and the father of two sons, Aaron and Jake.
